What Does It Mean To Be ISO Certified And Why Does It Matter?

Compliant Manufacturer

What Is An ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturer?

If you look at the websites of manufacturers, you might see references to a company’s certifications, like ITAR or ISO9001:2015. Not every company has them, and not every company needs them. When you produce best-in-class products for a wide variety of clients, as Vinyl Technology does, you can develop these certifications to demonstrate your capabilities and your dedication to quality.

What is ISO 9001?

ISO 9000 family of standards deals with quality management systems. The ISO 9000 standard was the first to be published, in 1987, and was most recently updated for 2015. The ISO revisits each of its standards every year to confirm that the most recent update is still valid.

ISO 9001 certification requires a company to have systems in place for managing its manufacturing processes.
